Shooting glass is one of the toughest subjects for a still life photographer. In this series of images I wanted to convey the beauty of the glass by combining reflected and the transmitted light - whilst avoiding all of the problems that plague this type of work. For this project, I spent more time building the set and developing a lighting plan than I did taking the pictures!

As a result of the extra effort I made to get the lighting absolutely correct, these photographs required very little retouching.
